Best Beaches on Kauai…Aloha!

Welcome to Kauai, where you’ll find some of the most spectacular beaches, some where your footprints can be the only ones….welcome to the “garden isle.”

Focusing on the lush North Shore, first stop is Beautiful Hanalei Bay. This is where a majority of the film the “descendants’ with George Clooney was filmed. Gorgeous setting, with the mountains behind you. Pop over to the Pier, and watch kids play, surfers, paddle boarders — all in a spectacular setting. Or just relax and be mesmerized with the setting; it is breathtaking.

Next stop is stunning Lumahai Beach, a 10-minute drive north . The beach is a short stroll down an easy path , made famous in the movie “Bali Hai.” Quiet and relaxing…be careful swimming here. Proceeding north, don’t miss “Tunnels” set against some spectacular cliffs. Great waves, local flavor. showers/restrooms – good stop to relax/picnic.

And farther north at Roads end, you’ll find beautiful “Ke’e beach.”This is a super beach set against the famous Na Pali Cliffs…Protected bay, so easier swimming for kids/families. The viewsare unbelievable…stay for sunset!

will continue our journey starting with Princeville on nextexpose…and on the way back, stop for a drink/pizza atTahiti Nui’s” in Hanalei (locals call in just ‘nui’s)…fun spot with localHawaiian music 6-8 most nights, more rock music later.
